![]() Had to check the dcr files files for the actual dates, April 2001, seems like ages now. Well, they're nothing fancy really, pretty straightforward actually. Me and 404 just build them out of simple pieces of code, a few sound samples, a little bit of interactivity (big word back then), and a lot of soundscape layering and sensitivity, in fact we were researching for our master thesis, both relating to audio-vision collision matters. Number four is still my favorite piece, nice moods, you can just play along for a little while and that's it, code-sound interactive micro machines. As Neil Postman put it, we were simply and plainly, amusing '…ourselves to death', well, actually he meant 'informing ourselves…', which is, off course, a all lot wiser and sharp way of (I guess) killing time. |
